Euridice opéra séjours culturels
The Mozart Week, traditionally the first festival of the year around the birthday of the Salzburg native, will once again bring together some of the best Mozart interpreters on the Salzach. In 2022, artistic director Rolando Villazón will focus on compositions for string instruments. Experience Mozart’s entire musical spectrum, which artists such as Anne-Sophie Mutter, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, Sir András Schiff, Janine Jansen and many more would like to give you.
Salzburg in winter - that is a very special atmosphere. Probably seldom in the year does one experience the city in such a contemplative way: strolling through the old town, strolling through the Mirabell Gardens, the obligatory visit to a café, or visiting the Hohensalzburg Fortress - with a panoramic view over the rooftops of Salzburg and the sugar-covered mountains of the Salzburger Land.

The Easter Festival has always been synonymous with exclusivity in the best sense! As a private festival, Herbert von Karajan founded the festival in 1967, which to this day is financed almost 90% from private funds and fulfills the greatest possible artistic freedom.
For 35 years, the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra with its respective chief conductors guaranteed the quality of the Easter Festival; since 2013, the Saxon State Orchestra under its maestro Christian Thielemann has been responsible for the programming. As one of the oldest and most traditional orchestras in the world - founded in 1548 by Elector Moritz of Saxony - it stands together with outstanding soloists as a guarantee for the highest musical enjoyment.
The Easter Festival 2021, which was cancelled due to the situation, will now take place in the fall for the first time. The 2022 festival invites you to the city on the Salzach at the usual time with a new production of Wagner’s "Lohengrin" as well as wonderful concert programs.
