Euridice opéra séjours culturels
The magnificent building of the Semper Opera House is only one of the cultural landmarks with which the baroque old town of Dresden can adorn itself and which, as a former court opera house, cultivates a long musical tradition. Atmospheric concerts also take place in the beautiful dome of the Frauenkirche and, since its opening in spring 2017, in the simple but acoustically excellent concert hall of the Kulturpalast. All three venues are located in the heart of Dresden, which, thanks to extensive reconstruction, continues to fascinate its visitors today as a Gesamtkunstwerk: whether the Neumarkt, reconstructed in baroque style, the more than 100-metre-long procession of princes made of Meissen porcelain tiles or the Dresden Zwinger, one can still walk in the footsteps of August the Strong and his court architect Matthäus Daniel Pöppelmann.
The musical highlight of the season is the new production of Verdi’s Don Carlo. Experience with Anna Netrebko one of the most sought-after sopranos of our time in the Saxon Florence on the Elbe.
